On July 11, 2011, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its seventh meeting. The meeting approved the results of leadership work in June and the key leadership tasks for July and August 2011.
1. Evaluation of leadership performance in June 2011
1.1. Political and ideological work- Organize the dissemination of the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 4th Party Congress of Hanoi National University to all staff and employees. Develop the Party Committee's Action Program and direct the Party branches to develop Action Programs to implement the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. - Direct the Party branches to develop plans for implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.
1.2. Personnel organization work- Directed the establishment of the Department of Political Science and the consolidation of the Department's leadership board. - Directed the implementation and successful execution of the summary and evaluation of emulation and reward activities for the 2010-2011 academic year. The entire university had 55 outstanding labor collectives; 54 advanced labor collectives; 247 staff members achieving the title of Advanced Laborer; 114 staff members achieving the title of Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level; 19 staff members achieving the title of Emulation Soldier at the National University level; and 4 staff members achieving the title of Emulation Soldier at the Ministry level. 18 collectives and 42 staff members received Certificates of Merit from the Rector; 12 collectives and 8 staff members were recommended for Certificates of Merit from the Director of the National University; 3 collectives and 3 staff members were recommended for Labor Orders of various classes; and 2 collectives and 3 individuals were recommended for Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.
1.3. Professional work- Directed the successful organization of the end-of-semester II exams and the awarding of bachelor's degrees to 1015 students of cohort K52 and 35 Chinese students; organized course registration for semester I of the 2011-2012 academic year. Successfully organized the 2011 university entrance examination. - Prepared for the scientific conference: "Between Classical and Modernism: Southeast Asia from the late 14th to the late 17th centuries". - Directed the development of the University's science and technology plan for 2012.

2. Key tasks for July-August 2011
- Directing the completion of the 2011 university entrance examination and preparing for the second round of the 2011 postgraduate entrance examination.
- Directing the development of the 2011-2012 school year plan.
- Directing the preparation and organization of the Conference of officials and staff of the units and the School for the academic year 2011-2012.
- Directing preparations for welcoming K56 students and conducting political education at the beginning of the academic year.
- Directing the restructuring of the organizational apparatus and personnel of the Faculty of Political Science; directing the Party branch congress of the Faculty of International Studies.
- Directing the Trade Union and Youth Union to organize activities to express gratitude to some families and visit the camp for severely wounded soldiers on July 27th.
