First day "as a soldier"

On the morning of July 15, at 10:30 a.m., Minh Tri delegation arrived at Minh Tri commune. We were warmly welcomed by the commune leadership, youth union, and volunteers. We quickly took over the area and divided the "barracks".The whole group was divided into 3 houses. House 1 under the leadership of Luu Minh Nguyet stayed at Uncle Thai Quan's house, house 2 was assigned to Nguyen Dang Thanh at Uncle Nguyen Thi Bay's house, house 3 was assigned to Hoang Minh who had the honor of staying at the secretary's house. At 11:30, after eating a once-in-a-lifetime instant noodle meal, the members quickly settled down and "slept" until the team leader blew the whistle. Perhaps everyone was tired after the long trip. At 14:30, we woke up and welcomed the leaders of the School Union. Meeting the teachers, we volunteers were like hungry children meeting our mother, but the instant noodles from lunch had truly disappeared without a trace. Then we said goodbye, then told them that this garden had a lot of grass, the toilet had no door, the parents smiled kindly and lovingly at their children and said: You have to clean up everything yourself and stay there. Hic hic, you have no one to rely on! 15:00. After receiving the love from their parents, the girls cleaned the house, the boys were given the noble task of closing the toilet door and "creating" a new clothes drying pole. The deputy commander raising Thin also took the opportunity to climb the grapefruit tree to pick morning glory flowers to cook soup in the afternoon. At 4:10 p.m., all the volunteers of Minh Tri group visited the neighboring families to get acquainted. Among them were the families of Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, Nguyen Thi Thai, Mr. Huy - Vang, and Mr. Du - Thuc. They said they were visiting first, but every time they spoke, they heard them say: "Do you have sickles and hoes, can you lend them to us?" At 6:00 p.m., after struggling with the new stove, the first meal was finally ready. At 7:15 p.m., the whole group had dinner at house number 2. After that, all the volunteers were present at the village cultural house. Attending the meeting were Mr. Bui Van Duan, Deputy Secretary and Head of Lap Tri village; Uncle Hanh - Deputy of Lap Tri village; Uncle Phong - Deputy Secretary of Lap Tri village team. The young artists of the group were tested and measured with the artists of Minh Tri. Finally, Uncle Bui Van Duan announced the specific work assignment for local officials to participate in activities with the volunteer student group and announced the schedule of some activities such as: summer activities for children; opening skill training classes; cleaning... At 11:30 pm, the whole group was awakened by the scare of the foster mother Thu Trang. While dreaming of meeting the prince, she saw someone's shadow lurking in, it turned out to be the deputy foster mother Thin, the whole family laughed and then fell asleep without realizing it.
