Cultural exchange with the people of Xuan Long village.

On the very first day of their introduction to the commune's leadership, the volunteer student team from the Faculty of History - University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a cultural exchange event titled "Towards the Future" with the people of Xuan Long village - Tan Dan commune (Soc Son - Hanoi) on the evening of July 16, 2011.The exchange attracted a large number of local people and officials. At the beginning of the event, Mr. Hoang Van Chua, Head of Xuan Long village, on behalf of the village leadership, announced the purpose of the event and warmly welcomed the volunteer team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The volunteer team's performance of the song "Green Summer" opened the evening with great enthusiasm. The volunteer team collaborated with the local community to perform various cultural acts. These included vibrant songs reflecting the spirit of "Where there is a need, the youth are there - Where there is difficulty, the youth are there," such as: "Student Song," "Green Summer," "Youth's Journey Following Uncle Ho's Teachings," etc. The team's comedy skit "Miss History" was particularly well-received by the villagers. Through this exchange, the team also helped the village raise approximately 6 million VND to fund the upcoming summer camp.
