Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan analyzed that, before the crucial moment of deciding which major to register for, students should choose the major they love the most and have the best potential for development.

"Based on my own experience choosing a university over two decades ago, my experience in higher education management over the years, and expert analysis from numerous higher education institutions both domestically and internationally… I believe that choosing a major is crucial; after selecting a major they love, students should then carefully consider which educational institution they trust to be the best to begin their academic and career journey."

Currently, each field of study is often offered by many universities. For example, Social Work is offered at universities such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Vietnam Trade Union University, and Thang Long University, among others.

All these programs are issued and quality-assured by the State, so the diplomas will have equal legal and practical value. Currently, some industries have a surplus of manpower, while others have a shortage. Students should first determine their field of study, then choose a university that suits their abilities. "Once you've chosen a profession you like, it's not necessary to go to prestigious universities that you can't afford. You can absolutely choose a good university with lower admission requirements, but with effort, determination, and passion, you can definitely find a good job," said Mr. Binh.
