Instructions for regular university admission in 2019

STEP 1. CONFIRM ONLINE ADMISSION:SEE HERE
Note:
- Candidates must confirm their admission online to be eligible to receive an admission notice and enroll in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU.
- Candidates who have confirmed their admission online will submit their original national high school exam results certificate when coming to complete admission procedures.
 

STEP 2. RECEIVE ADMISSION NOTICE
After completing online admission confirmation, candidates choose 1 of 2 options to receive the Admission Notice below:
-Receive Admission Notice directly from University of Social Sciences and Humanities:Candidates who have confirmed their admission, please fill in the following information form:REGISTER TO RECEIVE ADMISSION NOTICE AT SCHOOLFrom date10/8 to 17:00, August 15, 2019, candidates or relatives (if they are relatives receiving on their behalf, they need to have a photocopy/photo of the candidate's ID card/CCCD) come directly to receive the Admission Notice at room 604B, building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi. After the above time, the Admission Notice will be sent to the address stated in the candidate's application file/.
- Receive Admission Notice by mail:For candidates who have confirmed their admission but do not register to receive the admission notice directly at the School, the School will send the admission notice by express delivery to the candidate at the address stated in the application form and admission confirmation information.
Note:Candidates who have confirmed their admission online should prepare their admission documents in advance according to the instructions here.Step 3and come to complete the admission procedures according to the instructions and time below, even if you do not receive the admission notice. Candidates who have lost their admission notice will receive a supplementary admission notice when they come to enroll at the School.
 
STEP 3. PREPARE ADMISSION DOCUMENTS AND ENROLL
3.1 Admission time
+ 8:00 – 11:30, August 22, 2019:Candidates are admitted and confirmed to study in the following majors/training programs: Journalism, Journalism ** (CLC TT23 training program), Public Relations, International Studies, Psychology, Philosophy.
+ 13:30 – 17:00, August 22, 2019:Candidates are admitted and confirmed to study in the following majors/training programs: Political Science, Social Work, Oriental Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, History, Japanese Studies, Sociology.
+ 8:00 – 11:30, August 23, 2019:Candidates are admitted and confirmed to study in the following majors/training programs: Han Nom, Linguistics, Anthropology, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Religious Studies, Literature.
+ 13:30 – 17:00, August 23, 2019:Candidates who are admitted and confirm their admission to the following majors/training programs: Management Science, Management Science ** (CLC TT23 Training Program), Archival Studies, Information Management, Information Management ** (CLC TT23 Training Program), Information - Library, Office Administration, Vietnamese Studies.
3.2 Admission location:Building G, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
3.3 Admission documents:

1. Notice of admission to regular university in 2019: original and 05 notarized photocopies.
2. Original Certificate of 2019 National High School Exam Results (for candidates admitted based on 2019 National High School Exam results).
3. ID card/CCCD: 01 notarized photocopy and original for verification.
4. High school diploma or equivalent (for students graduating before 2019): 01 notarized photocopy and original for verification or Temporary graduation certificate (original, for students graduating in 2019).
5. High school transcript or equivalent: 01 notarized photocopy or confirmation from the school where graduated and have the original for verification.
6. Birth certificate: 01 certified copy or 01 notarized photocopy.
7. Permanent residence registration: 01 notarized photocopy.
8. Resume according to the form of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (download) HERE), with a photo stamped and certified by the local authority or the head of the agency where the father (or mother) works.
9. Certificate of preferential treatment according to subjects and social policies (if any).
10. Health insurance card: 01 photocopy (if any)
11. CV and Party and Youth Union transfer papers (if any).
12. Temporary absence registration form issued by the ward (commune) police station, accompanied by a photocopy of the Identity Card/Citizen Identification Card (for students who need to register for temporary residence).
13. Military service registration transfer form (for men of military service age) includes: Original military service registration certificate; Original military service transfer introduction form; Information declaration form for male students of military service age (according to formHERE).
14. 02 3x4 photos, taken within 1 year of admission. Students must put them in a separate envelope, clearly write their full name, date of birth, and major on the envelope.
15. Amounts:

a) Provisional tuition fee for semester I, school year 2019 - 2020:................................................................. 3,375,975 VND
b) Health check-up fee:.......................................................................................................... 180,000 VND
c) Health Insurance (from September 2019 to December 2020): .............................................................. 704,025 VND/15 months
d) Personal insurance (voluntary): ............................................................................................ 240,000 VND/4 years
e) Dormitory fees, temporary residence (for students considered for dormitory stay): According to VNU regulations.
