Guide to university admissions in 2019

STEP 1. CONFIRM YOUR ONLINE ADMISSION:VIEW HERE
Note:
- Candidates must confirm their enrollment online to be eligible to receive their admission letter and enroll at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi.
- Candidates who have confirmed their enrollment online will submit their original National High School Graduation Examination results certificate when they come to complete the enrollment procedures.
 

STEP 2. RECEIVE YOUR ADMISSION NOTICE
After completing the online enrollment confirmation, candidates can choose one of the two options below to receive their Admission Notice:
ButReceive your Admission Notice directly at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities:Candidates who have confirmed their enrollment should fill out the following form:REGISTER TO RECEIVE YOUR ADMISSION NOTICE AT THE SCHOOLFrom that dateFrom August 10th to 5:00 PM on August 15th, 2019Candidates or their relatives (if a relative is receiving on their behalf, a photocopy/photo of the candidate's ID card/citizen identification card is required) must come to receive the Admission Notice in person at Room 604B, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. After the above time, the Admission Notice will be sent to the address indicated in the candidate's application form.
- Receive your admission letter by mail:For candidates who have confirmed their enrollment but have not registered to receive their admission notice in person at the School, the School will send the admission notice to the address provided in their application and enrollment confirmation information via express mail.
Note:Candidates who have confirmed their online enrollment should prepare their enrollment documents in advance according to the instructions provided.Step 3Please come to complete the enrollment procedures according to the instructions and schedule below, even if you have not received your admission notice. Candidates who have lost their admission notice will receive a replacement admission notice when they come to enroll at the School.
 
STEP 3. PREPARE AND ENROLL YOUR APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
3.1 Enrollment Period
+ 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM, August 22, 2019:Candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment in the following majors/programs: Journalism, Journalism (High-Quality Program TT23), Public Relations, International Studies, Psychology, Philosophy.
+ 13:30 – 17:00, August 22, 2019:Candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment in the following majors/programs: Political Science, Social Work, Oriental Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, History, Japanese Studies, Sociology.
+ 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM, August 23, 2019:Candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment in the following majors/programs: Sino-Vietnamese Studies, Linguistics, Anthropology, Tourism and Travel Service Management, Hotel Management, Religious Studies, Literature.
+ 13:30 – 17:00, August 23, 2019:Candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment in the following majors/programs: Management Science, Management Science** (High-Quality Program TT23), Archival Studies, Information Management, Information Management** (High-Quality Program TT23), Information - Library Science, Office Administration, Vietnamese Studies.
3.2 Admission Location:Building G, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
3.3 Admission documents:

1. Admission notice for candidates admitted to regular university programs in 2019: original copy and 5 notarized photocopies.
2. Original copy of the National High School Examination Results Certificate 2019 (for candidates admitted through the admission process based on National High School Examination results 2019).
3. Identity Card/Citizen Identification Card: 1 notarized photocopy and the original for verification.
4. High school diploma or equivalent (for candidates who graduated before 2019): 01 notarized photocopy and the original for verification, or Temporary Graduation Certificate (original, for candidates who graduated in 2019).
5. High school transcript or equivalent: 01 notarized photocopy or certified copy from the school where you graduated, and the original for verification.
6. Birth certificate: 01 certified copy of the original or 01 notarized photocopy.
7. Permanent residence registration certificate: 1 notarized photocopy.
8. The resume template from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (download) HERE), with a photograph affixed with a seal and certification from the local government or the head of the agency where the father (or mother) works.
9. Certificate of eligibility for preferential treatment based on social policy (if any).
10. Health insurance card: 1 photocopy (if available)
11. Party membership record and transfer papers (if any).
12. The temporary residence registration form is issued by the ward (or commune) police station, along with a photocopy of the Citizen Identity Card/National ID Card (for students who need to register for temporary residence).
13. The military service registration transfer document (for males of military service age) includes: Original military service registration certificate; Original military service transfer referral letter; Information declaration form for male students of conscription age (according to the mẫu - template).HERE.
14. Two 3x4 photos, taken no more than one year prior to enrollment. Students should place these in a separate envelope, clearly writing their full name, date of birth, and the major they have been admitted to on the outside of the envelope.
15. The amounts of money:

a) Provisional tuition fee for Semester I of the 2019-2020 school year: 3,375,975 VND
b) Health check-up fee:.......................................................................................................... 180,000 VND
c) Health Insurance (from September 2019 to December 2020): ............................................................. 704,025 VND/15 months
d) Personal accident insurance (voluntary): ............................................................................................ 240,000 VND/4 years
e) Dormitory fees and temporary residence registration (for students admitted to the dormitory): As per the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
