Invitation to submit papers for the seminar on Media Culture in the Era of Integration.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities cordially invites scholars to contribute papers to the conference "Media Culture in the Era of Integration," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Vietnam Journalists Association, scheduled to be held on January 10, 2012.The workshop focused on the following main topics: - Research and exploration from multiple perspectives of the relationship between culture and journalism, the indirect contribution of mass media to shaping cultural and ideological forms in society, and the cultural aspects necessary for mass media in the context of digital media. - Clarifying and enhancing understanding of the position, role, content, and practical issues regarding cultural factors in Vietnamese mass media and journalism today. Simultaneously, clarifying the requirements, experiences, and lessons learned regarding methods and skills in media and journalism in the socio-cultural field. - Providing guidance and proposing recommendations and solutions to enhance the cultural level of Vietnamese journalists, meeting the demands of globalization and international integration. Authors should submit their papers via email to khanhthuong13@gmail.com, or to the Office of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi; telephone: 04.38581078 before December 15, 2011. Each paper should not exceed 3000 words, be formatted on A4 paper, using Times New Roman font, size 13. The title at the top of the page should be in bold uppercase Times New Roman font, size 14. Below the title, clearly state the author's full name, position, academic title, degree, and affiliation.
