The results showed that 89.0% of graduates found jobs (the employment rates for graduates in 2013 and 2014 were 92.1% and 87.5%, respectively). The majority of graduates found jobs within 06 months. Specifically, 50.2% of graduates found jobs within 01 month, the rate of finding jobs within the next 1-6 months was 39.2%.

The survey results reflect that within less than 2 years after graduation, the percentage of graduates who found a job “completely suitable for their major” was 39.2%, the monthly income in the range of “6-9 million VND” and “over 9 million VND” was 21.4%. However, 45.3% were satisfied with their jobs and 45.4% of graduates said that at the time of the survey their jobs were “Stable” and “Very stable”. More details about the employment of graduates: 76.3% of graduates are holding professional positions, 7.2% of graduates are in management roles.

Notably, 56.2% of graduates work in the working environment of "Private, foreign enterprises". According to the survey results, compared to other factors ("academic results", "work experience", "foreign language proficiency", "appearance", "computer skills"), "soft skills and communication skills" are considered the most important factors for the opportunity to find a job after graduation (95.3% of graduates affirmed the importance of this factor). In fact, 22.6% of students who participated in soft skills training courses after graduation and 23.1% of students who have not found a job believe that the lack of soft skills is the cause of initial failures on the path to participating in working environments.

The survey of graduate information is conducted annually by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU to contribute to the continuous improvement of training quality to meet social needs. The 2016 survey for 2015 graduates on a larger scale, expanding to employers, is being implemented from April to the end of May 2016. Survey link:
