The content of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of the Master's program in Archival Studies and Digitization, implemented by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in collaboration with Aix Marseille University under the financial sponsorship of AUF. The Master's program in Archival Studies and Digitization is expected to begin enrolling students at the end of 2020.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is also the focal point of the project on the Vietnam Studies Documentation Center of VNU with AUF. During the discussion, Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan proposed two aspects of cooperation: Firstly, AUF creates favorable conditions to support the Center in the documentation work related to the history of the two countries, because in the Vietnam Studies program, documents from the French side are especially important and that data can be digitized. In addition, AUF can coordinate to organize seminars to introduce French documents about Vietnam. Secondly, AUF will support funding and research experts in implementing the project to open a master's training program in Archival Studies and Digitization in 2020.

Ms. Hélène DEJOUX - Deputy Director of the AUF Regional Office agreed with the proposal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The AUF representative suggested some new training methods suitable for digital technology, such as online training, so that the program can reach more people. In addition, she hopes that the results of this project will be a first model for AUF to apply and deploy to other countries in the world.

Deputy Director Pham Bao Son affirmed that the cooperation program on the Vietnam Research Documentation Center of VNU with AUF is a national program, so VNU pays great attention to it. Promoting and enhancing cooperation, exchanging research experiences, supporting the training of scientific researchers and exchanging professional qualifications of archivists between the two sides will contribute to the sustainable success of the project.
