The program was implemented according to a memorandum of understanding signed by both parties on December 30, 2017, with funding from the Korean government. In the second cohort, held from August to December 2019, 17 young Korean students studied Vietnamese language and culture at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities was responsible for developing ideas, creating appropriate curriculum content, and organizing teaching according to the requirements and quality standards committed to the partner. Prior to this, the first cohort of the Korean Global Young Entrepreneurs Training Program was successfully held with the participation of 17 Korean students from January to June 2019.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Con (Director of the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture) congratulated the Korean students. He hoped that the students could apply the knowledge they had learned to their future work. The Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture is committed to opening its doors to any students who wish to return to study and learn about Vietnamese language and culture. He also expressed his gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the CEO Global Research Group for their support throughout the implementation of the program.

On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University) expressed his confidence that the Korean students had memorable experiences during their four months in Vietnam. This is because they not only learned the language but also explored the beautiful cultural aspects of Vietnamese life, people, and country. The closeness and camaraderie with their Vietnamese teachers and friends helped them overcome the difficulties of studying and working in a foreign land.

On behalf of the Global CEO Research Group, Professor Kim Kwang Soo (Director of the Global CEO Research Group) expressed his sincere gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for facilitating the successful implementation of the program. He expressed his belief that, with their pioneering spirit and willingness to take risks, the graduates will find many opportunities for career development in a country with such rich economic potential as Vietnam.
