The Temple of Literature was built in 1070 during the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong, as a place of worship for Confucius, the sages of Confucianism, and Chu Van An, the headmaster of the National Academy – a highly respected and virtuous teacher in Vietnamese education. The National Academy, built in 1076 during the reign of King Ly Nhan Tong, was a place for training talented individuals for the country and is considered the first university in Vietnam.
In the sacred atmosphere of early spring, the school's staff solemnly and respectfully performed the ceremony of presenting the commemorative address and offering incense at the Temple of Literature - National University at the Dai Thanh Mon area, to express their remembrance and gratitude to the ancestors and sages who contributed to "opening the source of higher education" and establishing the Temple of Literature - National University as a symbol of Vietnamese education.

In the spirit of "Descendants of the ancient Imperial Academy," and upholding the traditions of "Respecting Teachers and Honoring Education," and "Remembering the Source of Water," this activity not only reminds the school's staff of their responsibility and the important role of those working in education, but also expresses the hope for a new year filled with determination, expectations, and new achievements.
