
Professor and Rector Pham Quang Minh visits Professor Vu Duong Ninh and his family.
Professor Vu Duong Ninh, a People's Teacher, is an expert in modern and contemporary world history, modern and contemporary international relations history, modern Southeast Asian history, and the history of Vietnam's foreign relations. He previously held positions as Head of the World History Department, Faculty of History (1968-1976), Vice Head of the Faculty of History (1992-1995), and Head of the Faculty of International Studies (1995-2000). He is currently the President of the University's Alumni Association and continues to regularly contribute to research and teaching activities at the University and the Faculty of International Studies.

The faculty also visited the homes of the late Professor Phan Huy Le and the late Associate Professor Pham Xuan Hang - two scientists, educators, and administrators who had close ties with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and passed away in 2018, leaving behind much sorrow for generations of colleagues, staff, students, and trainees of the University.
