The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading institution within the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in implementing quality assurance activities as a crucial solution to improve the quality of education.
In 2012, the University achieved Quality Accreditation Certificate (Cycle II) from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, meeting 60 out of 61 criteria. Regarding program-level evaluation, the University conducted evaluations of the Tourism, History, International Studies, Archival Studies, and Office Management programs according to VNU standards. In 2013, the University completed the evaluation of the Bachelor of Linguistics program according to the standards of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Regarding course evaluation, over the past five years, the University has processed more than 100,000 student evaluation forms for nearly 700 courses. In addition, the University established the Academic Advisory and Support Team (CASA) with the task of implementing advisory and support activities for teaching and learning. Through these activities, quality assurance and a culture of quality have become a constant awareness and regular activity of all staff, students, and trainees throughout the University.

In the coming period, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities aims to: continue building a stable and sustainable high-quality cultural environment; maintain and improve the quality of training assurance activities and strive towards regional and international standards; increase the number of training programs accredited according to national, AUN Network, and international standards; and strengthen post-accreditation activities and develop a culture of quality. It is expected that by 2020, 100% of the University's training programs will be self-assessed and accredited according to VNU standards, 100% of training programs under strategic tasks will be accredited according to AUN standards, and 100% of courses will have student feedback collected.
