Opening the conference, Professor Nguyen Van Kim shared that this is one of the important scientific conferences that the University organizes annually. The conference aims to improve the quality of training and scientific research for young faculty members and postgraduate students of the University; to apply and enhance the quality of training and self-training, aiming to develop high-quality human resources and cultivate a team of potential scientific staff. At the same time, it aims to create an academic atmosphere among young faculty members and postgraduate students, contributing to the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities into a research university.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim delivered the opening remarks.
The university sent out invitations to young faculty members and postgraduate students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to submit papers for the conference starting in May 2019. The papers were to be original research papers in the field of social sciences and humanities, compiled from research results in theses and dissertations. After more than six months, over 20 papers were submitted. The evaluation and selection committee chose seven papers that met the quality standards to be presented at the conference.
