Conference to review and review training work in 2019

The conference was attended by delegates representing leaders of training units, functional departments, centers, and members of the Inspection Team for training management of all systems and levels in 2019, established under Decision No. 3662/QD-XHNV dated September 20, 2019 of the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

At the beginning of the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Thuy - Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, Deputy Head of the Inspection Team for the management of training at all levels and levels in 2019 presented the draft report summarizing the inspection of training work in 2019. After listening to the report, the delegates who were leaders of the Training Department in charge of formal training, postgraduate training, enrollment and vocational training; representatives of the Planning and Finance Department gave assessments of the strengths and remaining problems in the management of training at all levels and levels of training units in 2019. The delegates attending the meeting also had many practical comments on the draft report. The conference also discussed and exchanged on the difficulties and challenges facing training work, and at the same time proposed solutions to overcome difficulties and orient training work in the period 2020-2025.

At the end of the conference, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the close coordination between inspection - legal work and training work of the School. 2019 was a difficult year for enrollment in non-formal training, but the School still had outstanding highlights in enrollment in regular university and double degree programs. The School acknowledged the contributions of training units and understood the difficulties they are facing in terms of personnel, enrollment, management of postgraduate training, etc. However, leaders of units also need to organize assistant work in their units in the direction of professionalization or multitasking to bring about the highest efficiency. In the next phase, the School will review the organization of training and implement clearer and stricter decentralization at each stage in training management to increase initiative in the units. Vice Principal Hoang Anh Tuan also said that in order for training to be increasingly effective and develop sustainably, the first factor that needs to be promoted is connection, sharing and solidarity among units throughout the school.
