Next, the speaker, Ms. Tran Thi Ai Lien, shared with parents the dangers of violence in child rearing, the philosophy and lifestyle of "rejecting violence"; methods of "criticizing" to minimize bad behavior and "praising" to encourage good behavior in children; what to say and do to create a peaceful and happy family environment for children…

"Discipline Without Tears" is a two-way discussion forum, sharing not only the speakers' perspectives but also an open and sincere exchange of views and experiences from parents on raising children.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, this is the opening activity for the activities in response to the Year of the Vietnamese Family. In the coming time, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to implement practical activities to propagate, encourage, and support the staff and faculty of the University in building prosperous, equal, progressive, happy, and sustainable families as set out in the Strategy for the Development of Vietnamese Families.
