On July 1st, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a graduation ceremony for bachelor's degree students of the QH 2009-X cohort.
The QH-2009-X cohort had 1,458 enrolled students, of which 1,326 (93.28%) completed their final year, and 1,071 (78.75%) were recognized as graduates. 125 students completed their graduation program ahead of schedule.
For students of the QH-2009-X cohort, this is the third year that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has implemented credit-based training. Over the past period, in accordance with the policy of adjusting the training program of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University's training program has undergone many changes with numerous new and innovative aspects such as regulations on accelerated and delayed learning, foreign language proficiency standards, soft skills, etc. However, overcoming these obstacles, the QH-2009-X cohort completed their studies with good results: 9 students achieved excellent grades (0.78%), 274 students achieved good grades (25.58%), and 784 students achieved fair grades (66.31%). The number of students winning research awards was 137, accounting for 10.07%.
The QH-2009-X cohort had many students who received the title of Outstanding Young Face at the University and VNU levels; the title of January Star, and the title of New Era Youth of Hanoi. 21 students received commendations from the VNU Youth Union, the Hanoi City Youth Union, and the Central Youth Union, and 46 students were admitted to the Party.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector) presented certificates of commendation from the Rector to students of cohort K54 (QH-2009-X) who achieved excellent and good academic results.
At the graduation ceremony, nine students with outstanding academic achievements received commendations from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and 290 students with excellent academic results received commendations from the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The school also awarded certificates of merit and prizes to 19 students who achieved excellent and good academic results; 18 students who were class officers and Youth Union/Student Association officers with outstanding achievements in their studies and work; and 16 students from disadvantaged backgrounds who excelled in their studies during the 2012-2013 academic year (2009-X cohort).
