At the meeting, the two sides presented orientations for the development of Iranian studies in Vietnam as well as wishes for cooperation between the two universities.
Director of Al-Mustafa International University, Mr. Mohamad Ibrahim Zerafati, hopes that educational cooperation between the two schools in particular and between the two countries in general can be strengthened, thereby promoting the relationship between Vietnam and Iran to become stronger.
Specifically, he wishes to establish an Iranian research center in Vietnam; furthermore, to open an Iranian studies department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. With the hope for the future development of Iranian studies in Vietnam, the Iranian government as well as Al-Mustafa International University are willing to award many scholarships to students and lecturers of the university.
He then expressed his confidence in the strategic vision and strong, professionally qualified faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, so the Iranian government as well as Al-Mustafa International University are willing to award scholarships to students and short-term courses for the university's faculty.

He said that developing Iran studies and the Iran research center is also a way to understand Iran more clearly and deeply.
On the school's side, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his joy at the past achievements and future directions of both sides.
On behalf of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Associate Professor Dr. Do Thu Ha thanked the former Iranian ambassador and Al-mustafa International University for the cooperation in teaching and research activities, student and lecturer exchanges between the two schools in the past time.
Associate Professor Dr. Do Thu Ha also believes that with the advantages in diplomacy, culture, and education between the two countries as well as the help and support from the school leaders, the cooperation between the two countries will have new turning points.

With 18 years of research on Iran, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has organized 04 photo exhibitions, 05 seminars, 05 books and 03 magazines on Iran, 03 talks on the people and country of Iran, 04 Persian language courses, as well as 06 masters and 03 bachelors trained in Iran. In addition, there was a visit and signing of a memorandum of understanding by former Rector Nguyen Van Khanh with 03 universities of Iran (University of Tehran, Esfrahan, Azad and SAMT Publishing House) along with many film screenings and art performances at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi.
