The cooperation agreement between Vingroup and Vietnam National University, Hanoi is part of the Group's comprehensive cooperation with leading universities in Vietnam, with a focus on the Vingroup Young Talent Scholarship Program - which gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience through a special program at the Group.

As a high-quality, multidisciplinary training, scientific research, and technology center prioritized for investment and development by the State, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has outstanding strengths in training fields such as business administration, tourism, foreign languages, pedagogy, medicine, and biotechnology… These are also fields that align with Vingroup's core business areas: real estate, tourism and resorts, retail, healthcare, education, and agriculture.

Therefore, the focus of the Agreement is on a “targeted” training program to ensure that graduates possess practical work skills, clear career orientation, and high adaptability to the business environment.

To realize this goal, Vingroup announced a 30 billion VND Young Talent Scholarship Fund for outstanding students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, studying in majors that align with the Group's human resource recruitment policy.

Accordingly, scholarship recipients will participate in internship programs and receive in-depth training in professional skills, gaining hands-on business experience in a professional, fast-paced, and efficient environment within Vingroup's ecosystem. Upon graduation, students will receive both a degree from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and a practical training certificate from Vingroup. Outstanding graduates will have the opportunity to work at Vingroup, and especially to participate in the Vingroup Future Leaders Program. This program seeks talented recent graduates to train and develop into future grassroots leaders for the Group.

Besides collaborating to immerse students from a leading Vietnamese university in Vietnam's most dynamic business environment, the agreement also aims to attract international partners to implement several specialized research programs with practical applications, laying the groundwork for the future establishment of Vingroup International University.

Previously, in January 2016, Vingroup signed a cooperation agreement with the National Economics University and established a 30 billion VND Young Talent Scholarship Fund for the university's students. With this agreement with the Vietnam National University, Vingroup further affirms its long-term commitment to education, as well as its strategic and humane vision for the young generation of Vietnam, contributing to the mission of "For a better life for the Vietnamese people".

The involvement of businesses in the training of university students is a trend being encouraged by the Government. This is both a method and an objective to bridge the gap between training and practice, and to enhance the development of science, technology, and higher education in Vietnam.
