Disseminate, thoroughly understand and implement the Resolution of the 16th Congress of Delegates of the Hanoi City Party Committee

The conference listened to comrade Pham Thanh Hoc disseminate, thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the 16th Hanoi Party Congress. The report focused on two main areas of content: first, reporting on the key results of the Hanoi Party Congress achieved in the past term; second, presenting the key tasks and breakthrough solutions of the Hanoi Party in the upcoming term.

Last term,The Hanoi Party Committee has strived, creatively applied, focused on directing the synchronous and effective implementation of the Central Resolutions and the Resolutions of the City Party Committee, focusing on studying and concretizing the Resolution of the 15th Congress, leading the implementation of 9 work programs, 5 main tasks and 2 breakthroughs of the City Party Committee, creating new changes in all areas of the Party Committee's activities. The appearance of the capital has changed rapidly, becoming more and more spacious and prosperous. The stability and development of Hanoi City in the past term has made an important contribution to the overall stability and development of the country.

In the coming term, the 16th Hanoi Party Committee is determined to build a truly clean and strong Party Committee, enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; promote the cultural and heroic traditions and the strength of national solidarity; mobilize all resources, comprehensively and synchronously promote the innovation process, the cause of industrialization and modernization; build the Capital increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern. The economic structure continues to shift towards: services - industry - agriculture, with many products with high technology content, added value and competitiveness. The socio-economic infrastructure is increasingly synchronous and modern, the environment is sustainable. Culture - society, education and training, health care, science and technology continue to develop; social security is ensured, people's lives are increasingly improved and enhanced; national defense and security are firmly consolidated; Foreign relations are expanded, enhancing the position and prestige of the Capital. Promoting the role of the locomotive and development center of the Red River Delta and the whole country.

On behalf of the Party Committee of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh presented the action plan to implement the Resolution of the 16th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2015-2020. With the purpose and requirement of raising awareness, creating unity among Party members and students of the University in concretizing the contents of the Resolution of the 16th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2015-2020 and the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, effectively promoting resources in implementing the political tasks of the University Party Committee. Deploying the specific contents of the action plan to units and individuals to create changes in participating in effectively implementing the tasks of building and developing the capital in the period 2015-2020.

Action plan content to be implemented:

Main objectives: to build a clean and strong Party organization, enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and Party members, contribute to promoting the heroic cultural tradition, the strength of great solidarity, effectively participate in the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization, and build the capital to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, and modern.

Main tasks and solutions: Effectively implement five main tasks and three breakthroughs in the spirit of the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee. Focus on participating in the following tasks: Promoting the potential and strengths of the capital, promoting the development of the knowledge-based economy; Actively developing the cultural cause, building elegant and civilized Hanoians, ensuring social security, implementing social progress and equity, fundamentally and comprehensively innovating education and training, developing science and technology, socio-culture, improving the quality of human resources, promoting the industrialization and modernization of the capital; Continuing to contribute to creating strong changes in the work of Party building and rectification, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example and implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, 11th tenure on some urgent issues in Party building at present.

Based on the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, as well as the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels; based on the practical requirements of the School's development, the School Party Committee is responsible for developing overall work programs and projects to specify the implementation of the above tasks and solutions.
