The conference summarized the scientific research activities of students during the 2015-2016 academic year. Through scientific research activities, students have the opportunity to develop their intellect, creative abilities, and thinking methods, thereby applying scientific theory to practice.
The conference took place in an enthusiastic atmosphere with the participation of over 100 students and faculty members from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. Seven of the best reports out of more than 100 student research projects were selected by the preliminary judging panel and presented at the conference. This year's projects were assessed as being of high quality, with many new and relevant points.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen delivered a speech at the conference.
At the conference, the research teams confidently presented their findings in a convincing manner and received enthusiastic and fair feedback and comments from the faculty members of the Department.

+ Report "The Image of Vietnamese Students in Online Newspapers" - Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung and Ngo Thi Thanh Hien
+ Report "Superstitious Information on Online Newspapers" - Ha Thi Nga and Tran Thi Trinh
+ Report on "Documentary Film Production Styles in VTV Special Programs - Vietnam Television".

Student research activities in the Faculty of Journalism and Communication in recent years have increasingly demonstrated a systematic approach, high quality, and a combination of in-depth theory and practical application. Many topics have the potential to develop into higher-level research projects such as dissertations and theses. Furthermore, scientific research activities greatly support students in their practical training, helping them become skilled, creative, and confident professionals in journalism and communication in the future.
