On the morning of March 8, 2013, the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the "Flavors of March" cooking competition.

On the morning of March 8, 2013, the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the "Flavors of March" cooking competition.This is a very meaningful activity organized to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, and also an opportunity for students of the university, especially female students, to showcase their talents and skills. This year's competition saw the participation of 23 teams from 18 affiliated student associations and 5 student clubs in the university. As a result, the team from the Faculty of Information and Library Science excellently won first prize; two second prizes went to the teams from the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management, and the Faculty of Political Science; and three third prizes went to the teams from the Faculty of Philosophy, the Student Social Work Team, and the Rumbo Club.

The competition is an annual event organized by the University's Student Union. This year's competition is also part of a series of events in response to Youth Month 2013 and to celebrate the 6th Congress of the University's Student Union, term 2013-2015.
