Moving towards establishing cooperative relations with Meiji University

Prof. Takehiko YoShiMura - Director of the Institute of Ancient Studies, former Principal of the Graduate School, Meiji University (Japan) led a delegation of staff and lecturers from Meiji University to visit and discuss cooperation opportunities with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 8, 2013. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Political Science received and worked with the delegation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Political Science received and worked with the delegation.Prof. Takehiko YoShiMura shared his experience in building an advanced university development model, contributing to the construction and development of the country. The professor said that Meiji University's development strategy in the coming time is to expand and develop academic cooperation with many universities in the East Asia region, with special attention to universities in Vietnam. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim emphasized: Japanese universities are one of the strategic partners, focusing on developing international cooperation relations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. The Vice President hopes that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Meiji University will soon establish a cooperative relationship. The leaders of the two universities agreed that in the near future, the two universities will sign an official cooperation agreement, opening up opportunities for more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation and academic exchange. Meiji University currently has more than 800 international students studying and has more than 110 universities in the world as partners. Meiji University was founded in 1881.
