Professor Takehiko Yoshimura – Director of the Institute of Ancient Studies, former Dean of the Graduate School, Meiji University (Japan) – led a delegation of faculty and staff from Meiji University to visit and discuss cooperation opportunities with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 8, 2013. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of Political Science, received and worked with the delegation.
Professor Takehiko Yoshimura – Director of the Institute of Ancient Studies, former Dean of the Graduate School, Meiji University (Japan) – led a delegation of faculty and staff from Meiji University to visit and discuss cooperation opportunities with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 8, 2013. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of Political Science, received and worked with the delegation.Professor Takehiko Yoshimura shared his experience in building an advanced university development model, contributing to the country's development. He stated that Meiji University's future development strategy is to expand academic cooperation with many universities in East Asia, with a particular focus on universities in Vietnam. Associate Professor Nguyen Van Kim emphasized that Japanese universities are one of the strategic and key partners in the development of international cooperation for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Vice Rector expressed his hope that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Meiji University would soon establish a cooperative relationship. The leaders of both universities agreed that in the near future, they will sign a formal cooperation agreement, opening up opportunities for more comprehensive and in-depth academic cooperation and exchange. Meiji University currently has over 800 international students and more than 110 partner universities worldwide. Founded in 1881, Meiji University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Law, Humanities, Information and Communication, Science and Technology, and more.
