Signing of cooperation agreement on training international students

On May 12, 2011, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Principal of the University) had a meeting and worked with Professor Xia Fei - Vice Principal of Guangxi University of Finance and Economics.At the meeting, the leaders of the two sides discussed some training cooperation between the two schools in the coming time such as: exchange of lecturers and students, joint training cooperation in majors such as: Language, Journalism - Communication, Management... Representatives of the leaders of the two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in training international students between the two schools. The content of the agreement focuses on the specific tasks of each school: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities selects qualified students, completes procedures for students to study, annually informs the students' academic results to their families, and pays tuition and fees in full and on time to the Chinese school. The University of Finance and Economics accepts students, arranges accommodation, collects tuition fees, evaluates academic results and organizes exams, grants diplomas or certificates of study to Vietnamese students according to the majors they study. Every year, the Chinese side is responsible for notifying the academic results of each Vietnamese student and notifying the students' families of the results.
