Ho Chi Minh and the path to national liberation

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2011), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the National Political Publishing House, the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum jointly organized a scientific conference entitled "Ho Chi Minh and the Path to National Liberation" on May 10 at the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Hanoi).In his opening remarks at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector of the University) stated that the conference aimed to further clarify the journey of Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc in his quest for national salvation and the revolutionary and creative content of Ho Chi Minh's thought on national liberation through the proletarian revolution. Based on this, lessons were drawn and practical issues were suggested to further advance the revolutionary cause along the path outlined by Ho Chi Minh, in accordance with the context of the country and the present era. The 75 scientific papers presented at the conference focused on analyzing three major issues: clarifying the historical context, purpose, and journey of Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc in his quest for national salvation; analyzing the core contents of the path to national liberation in Ho Chi Minh's thought; and clarifying the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolution and the world revolutionary movement. In addition, delegates also presented much new material on the journey of finding a path to national salvation; the foundations and process of President Ho Chi Minh's discovery of the truth; the innovations of Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh on the path to national salvation and liberation... as well as analyzing the practical values ​​and great lessons of Ho Chi Minh's thought for the current industrialization, modernization, and renewal of the country.
