This morning, December 15, 2008, a delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade (China) led by Prof. Hua Guobin - Vice Rector - visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University - together with representatives of the Training Department, International Relations Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Linguistics, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language received the delegation.
This morning, December 15, 2008, a delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade (China) led by Prof. Hua Guobin - Vice Rector - visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University - together with representatives of the Training Department, International Relations Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Linguistics, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language received the delegation.
The two sides exchanged information related to the fields of study and potential cooperation between the two schools, and proposed directions for cooperation in the future. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the two schools signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2008-2011, according to which the two sides will coordinate to carry out the following common activities:

- Accept each other's international students and recognize the academic results of international students;
- Receive and train teaching staff for each other according to each other's abilities and needs;
- Agreement to jointly develop study abroad programs;
- Exchange self-published publications such as books, magazines, textbooks, tapes, discs and publications published by one's country related to the fields of language, culture, literature, history, economics, trade...;
- Cooperate in researching topics that both sides find necessary in areas where each side has strengths;
- When conditions permit, the two sides can coordinate to organize survey and study delegations at the partner's school;
- The two sides maintain regular contact, periodically discuss the implementation of cooperation contents, exchange and sign separate appendices to implement the cooperation terms...
