Signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong University of Foreign Languages ​​and Foreign Trade.

This morning, December 15, 2008, a delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade (China), led by Professor Xu Guobin – Vice Rector – visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Associate Professor Vu Duc Nghieu – Vice Rector of the University – along with representatives from the Training Department, International Relations Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Linguistics, and Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, received the delegation.

The two sides exchanged information regarding academic disciplines and potential cooperation between the two universities, and proposed directions for future collaboration. At the end of the meeting, representatives from both universities signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2008-2011, under which the two sides will jointly carry out the following activities:

- Sending lecturers and scientific researchers to participate in teaching and scientific research activities of the other party;

- Accepting each other's students and recognizing the academic achievements of international students;

- Receiving and training teaching staff for each other according to their respective capabilities and needs;

- Agree to jointly develop study abroad programs;

- Exchange of self-published publications such as books, magazines, textbooks, tapes, discs, and publications published in their respective countries related to the fields of language, culture, literature, history, economics, trade, etc.;

- Collaborate on research topics that both sides deem necessary in areas where each side has strengths;

- When conditions permit, both sides may cooperate in organizing study tours and visits to the partner's school;

- The two sides maintain regular contact, periodically exchanging information on the implementation of cooperation contents, engaging in exchanges, and signing separate appendices to implement the cooperation terms...
