27 teachers were awarded the titles of People's Teacher and Excellent Teacher in 2008.

On November 17, 2008, the President of Vietnam signed a Decision awarding the titles of People's Teacher and Excellent Teacher for 2008 to 78 outstanding teachers of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Among them, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 16 Excellent Teachers and 11 People's Teachers.
