The ceremony was attended by Professor Pham Quang Minh – Rector of the university, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu – Head of the Student Political Affairs Department, representatives from various departments, and representatives from the leadership of the Philosophy Faculty.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh – the Rector of the university – on behalf of the university's leadership, expressed gratitude and recognition for the contributions of the two professors to the teaching profession and the university's work. As a senior lecturer, Associate Professor Duong Van Thinh has made positive contributions to teaching the subject in the Philosophy Department. Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong has many years of experience in management at the Student Affairs and Political Education Department. Therefore, the retirement of the two professors will be a great loss for the university and all students. However, the Rector also hoped that this would be a time for Professor Thinh and Ms. Phuong to rest and take care of themselves after a long period of dedication to the university.

In the solemn and warm atmosphere of the ceremony, Principal Pham Quang Minh presented retirement certificates to the two teachers, and on behalf of the school's leadership, extended best wishes to Ms. Phuong and Mr. Thinh. The Student Affairs Department, the School's Trade Union, and the Administrative Staff's Trade Union also presented gifts of appreciation and shared heartfelt memories of the two teachers' close relationship with their respective units.
In response to those remarks, Associate Professor Duong Van Thinh expressed his deep gratitude for the affection shown to him by the Rector and the faculty. Throughout his time teaching at the university, he received much support from the faculty of the Philosophy Department and other units. This has been a great motivation for him to remain committed to the university and dedicated to teaching until now. Ms. Phuong, for her part, also shared touching sentiments specifically for the Department of Politics and Student Affairs – where she worked throughout her time at the university. Although retired, she hopes that she and the staff in the department will maintain close and friendly relationships.
