Signing of Memorandum of Cooperation with UCAM University (Spain)

At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University) introduced the main achievements in training, scientific research and the main research directions of the University; emphasizing the goal of building a research university, strengthening research projects, especially international publishing. The University currently has international relations with over 200 universities worldwide. The Rector expressed his desire to establish a relationship between the University and UCAM University. The cooperation agreement between the two sides is also a starting point to open up new prospects for cooperation in both breadth and depth between the University and Spanish universities in general.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced the University to representatives of UCAM University.

According to the memorandum of cooperation, the two sides will develop academic and educational cooperation and promote common understanding through the following areas of cooperation: exchange of lecturers, students, and postgraduates; conduct joint research projects as well as joint seminars and workshops; exchange of information and academic materials; and promote other academic fields suitable to both sides. The two sides will also exchange information on teaching programs, research projects and related materials if necessary. The memorandum of cooperation has no fixed term and comes into effect from the date of signing. The two sides will decide on the specific content of each cooperation item.

UCAM University, full name in Spanish is Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia - is a private university founded in 1996. As of 2016, the school has a total of 15,541 students, of which 10% are international students, with 9,250 undergraduate students and 2,630 postgraduate students. Every year, UCAM University welcomes nearly 300 students from all over Europe and partner schools to study exchange and research programs at the school.
