There is great potential for cooperation with Iranian universities.

During the meeting, the Ambassador emphasized the potential for cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Iranian Embassy, as well as Iranian universities, in research and teaching activities.

In fact, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had an official agreement with the Iranian Embassy and Tehran University for quite some time. The Iranian Embassy has supported the University in establishing the Iran Studies Room since 2003 – a place to display and introduce documents, books, paintings, and photographs about Iranian culture, country, and people to the University's students. To date, many diverse cooperation activities have been implemented, such as: translating books and documents about Iran; organizing Iranian Culture Week; exhibiting books, photos, and films about Iran; introducing Iranian and Eastern cuisine; organizing seminars on Vietnam-Iran relations… Notably, from 2012 to the present, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has organized five Persian language classes at various levels for nearly 30 students, taught by Iranian lecturers.

In the future, the university hopes to establish a major in Iranian Studies with the support of universities and the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam.

The Ambassador expressed his support for the collaborative activities between the two sides in the past. He also stated that these activities should be further strengthened in both scale and effectiveness in the future.
