Attending the workshop were journalist Ha Minh Hue - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; scientists and researchers in the fields of culture and journalism from universities, research institutes, and news agencies.
The workshop focused on the following main topics:
- Decoding the concepts, theoretical foundations, and practices of mass media culture.
- Approaches, methodologies, and research methods in mass media culture.
- Research the formation and development of the cultural industry in the modern media environment.
- To raise awareness of the position, role, content, and issues arising in the practice of mass media culture in Vietnam today.
- The solution is to build a modern media culture that aligns with the task of building an advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity.
The workshop is part of the State-level research project KX.03.11.15 “Mass media culture in Vietnam under market economy and globalization conditions” chaired by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication.
