The Humanitarian Fund was established to support faculty and staff of the University who are facing particularly difficult circumstances, such as serious illnesses, severe accidents, natural disasters, fires, or other exceptional hardships. The Fund helps faculty and staff overcome difficulties and continue to contribute to the development of the University in particular and the cause of education in general.
Attending the launch of the Fund were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University, members of the Trade Union, heads of departments, and a large number of staff and faculty members.
With the motto "The Trade Union is a warm home for every staff member," the Humanitarian Fund is a truly meaningful source of encouragement, support, and sharing for staff members who unfortunately find themselves in particularly difficult circumstances. The Fund is built on voluntary contributions and support from staff members and the contributions and support of philanthropists, units, and businesses inside and outside the university… and is under the direct management of the University's Trade Union Executive Committee. All activities of the Fund will be carried out according to its own operating regulations and will be publicly announced.
Speaking at the launch event, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh emphasized the significance of the trade union's regular sharing, assistance, and encouragement for its members during difficult times, as well as its other charitable activities.
