Launch of self-defense force training in 2014

Participating in this training session were 2 militia platoons, including nearly 60 core militia soldiers from the two schools. The main training contents included: political awareness of local military defense work; military regulations; practice using weapons; first aid... Officers from the Thanh Xuan District Military Command and the Capital Command were the instructors directly participating in this training session. The training period lasted from June 16 to June 25, 2014.

Over the past years, thanks to seriously implementing the annual training sessions, the soldiers of the Militia Platoon of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have continuously improved their political qualities, technical and tactical skills, ensuring combat readiness to protect the school's security and order, while actively participating with the armed forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area.

In 2013, the Militia Platoon participated in the National Defense Sports Festival of the Thanh Xuan District Militia Force and ranked 7th out of 25 delegations in the block of universities and colleges. It is expected that the School Militia Platoon will participate in all competitions at the District Sports Festival in September 2014.
