Launching the 2014 self-defense force training campaign.

Participating in this training session were two militia platoons, comprising nearly 60 core militia members from two schools. The main training content included: political awareness of local defense and military affairs; military regulations; practical use of weapons and equipment; first aid, etc. Officers from the Thanh Xuan District Military Command and the Hanoi Capital Command served as instructors for this training session. The training lasted from June 16th to June 25th, 2014.

Over the years, thanks to the diligent implementation of annual training courses, the soldiers of the Militia Platoon of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have continuously improved their political acumen, technical and tactical skills, ensuring combat readiness to protect the order and security of the University, while actively participating with the armed forces in maintaining political security and social order in the area.

In 2013, the Militia Platoon participated in the Thanh Xuan District Militia Force National Defense Sports Festival and ranked 7th out of 25 teams in the university and college category. It is expected that the School's Militia Platoon will participate in all events at the District's Sports Festival in September 2014.
