I. Basis for developing the plan

- Based on the draft plan of tasks for the 2008-2009 academic year of the Executive Committee of the Student Union of Hanoi National University.

- Based on the 2008-2009 academic year plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the 2008-2009 work plan of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University.

- Based on the conditions for implementing the work contents of the 2008-2009 school year.

II. Focus of work

- In collaboration with the University's Youth Union, we will continue to maintain and further develop the activity model to support student members in their studies, scientific research, and life skills.

- Maintain cultural and sports activities, and volunteer activities to contribute to the community with the motto: maximize the abilities and creative spirit of each student member; strengthen the mobilization of resources outside the school into activities.

- Develop and improve the quality of activities of student clubs.

III. Purpose

Continuing research, gradually transforming and adapting to the credit-based training model, and building and promoting the image of the youth movement at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

IV. Implementation Solutions

- Disseminate the content of the school year plan to each branch association.

- Coordinate with youth organizations and seek support from Party committees at all levels in directing the implementation of the school year plan.

- Improve the quality of personnel management, from the selection process to the training phase.

- Develop specific criteria for evaluating emulation and reward activities, and strengthen inspection work for units.

V. List of specific activities

* In addition to the specific activities mentioned above, the Executive Committee of the University Student Union continues to maintain activities to support students: providing bus tickets for the Lunar New Year holiday, awarding scholarships to members with good academic achievements (Rice Blossom Scholarship, Supporting Students to School Scholarship, Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship, etc.), opening counseling and skills training classes on a university scale, etc. The University Student Union also encourages the affiliated student unions and branches to proactively develop models to directly support members in their respective units.

VI. Implementation

- Based on the annual plan of the University Student Union and the practical conditions of each unit, the Executive Committees of the Sub-Unions develop and guide the sub-unions in developing and implementing their respective annual plans.

- The plans of each unit should closely follow the plan of the university's Student Union, and should be specific to facilitate implementation and monitoring.

- In addition to the general activities organized by the University's Student Union, each unit should proactively and creatively develop specific activities for its unit that are practically meaningful to its members.

- During the implementation process, units should proactively report to the Student Union so that they can provide timely support and conduct inspections.

- In addition to the above plan, based on specific conditions, the University Student Union will plan to mobilize units to participate in ad hoc activities and activities organized by the Student Union of Hanoi National University, the City Student Union, and the Central Student Union.
