Attending the program were Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of Student Affairs and Training Department), Dr. Pham Hong Long (Head of Tourism Studies Department), MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Dung (Deputy Head of Tourism Studies Department); MSc. Vu Huong Lan (Deputy Head of Tourism Studies Department).

At the ceremony, many scholarships were awarded to students of the Faculty of Tourism. Viettrantour Company awarded 20 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Tourism, each worth 1 million VND.

Unable to hide his honor and pride in being one of the 20 scholarship recipients, student Hoang Nhat Linh, K59 Tourism Studies shared: "As a student of the Tourism Faculty, I feel very lucky and proud because I always receive the attention and enthusiastic help of teachers and alumni."

On behalf of the students, student Hoang Nhat Linh sent the most sincere gratitude to the teachers, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

Former student of K42A, Nguyen Thu Ha, CEO of Viet vision travel, awarded 01 scholarship of one year's tuition fee to student Le Bich Loan (K60 Travel).

“Loan’s difficult situation reminds me of my own difficulties 17 years ago, when I was still in school. Today, coming back, I feel happy to support disadvantaged students to excel in their studies. I would like to send my sincere thanks to the Faculty of Tourism Studies and to the teachers for guiding, educating me and giving me an interesting career to pursue,” former student Nguyen Thu Ha shared.

In a message to students on this special occasion, former student Nguyen Thu Ha shared: "You should work in tourism with all your heart and responsibility for the profession, contributing to bringing Vietnamese tourism to the world."

Class K42A also donated 26.6 million VND to the scholarship fund of the Faculty of Tourism.

K42A collective representative donated the money to the Faculty's scholarship fund.

On behalf of the faculty, Dr. Pham Hong Long (Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies) expressed his thanks to the K42A faculty in particular and the alumni in general. Dr. Pham Hong Long hopes that in the near future, he will receive more support from alumni for the scholarship fund, so that this fund can mobilize itself and provide maximum support for the future studies of the Faculty of Tourism Studies students.

After the scholarship award ceremony, there was a discussion with the theme “Teachers and Memories”. This was an opportunity for teachers and students to exchange, share and connect with each other.

Regarding her impressions of the student cohorts, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Dung shared, “Participating in teaching students from K46, each student cohort has different impressions. The internship trips, the teaching hours at the hotel or the meetings after graduation, the stories of asking about the department, the school… - those are the pride and joy of the profession.”

As for Mr. Nguyen Pham Hung, the most precious gift is the students: “For me, the most precious gift is my students. With 38 years of teaching in the classroom, there are many students who are successful in life and career. I always share with my students, their success is my success and their failure is also my failure.”

Mr. Nguyen Pham Hung always worries: “We need to make tourism elite and luxurious. We have to break the inferiority complex of teachers and students of other faculties who think that tourism students only do professional work. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Tourism need to both work well and do good research.”

Mr. Trinh Le Anh shared

From the perspective of an event lecturer, Mr. Trinh Le Anh shared: “With the mindset of doing an event, teachers and alumni entered this event, were welcomed right from the first floor, saw you clapping, received a flower, were invited to write wishes for each other, for teachers…, of course the teachers felt your awareness and responsibility in the event. You did very well, had a very emotional program”.

After the discussion, the most interesting part was the gratitude gala called “My teachers are number 1”. This is the space where students recreate the most impressive images of students towards their teachers. It could be sayings, gestures, actions, etc., all of which are vividly recreated on stage.

During the gala, the students also honored their teachers with many titles that were given by the students themselves, such as: International Mister - Mr. Niga Saki; Ageless Gentleman - Mr. Trinh Le Anh; Tourism Mister - Mr. Nguyen Pham Hung; Gentleman with the most beautiful hair - Mr. Tran Duc Thanh; Mister with the most attractive body - Mr. Pham Hong Long; Mister with the most beautiful waist - Mr. To Quang Long.
