Attending the program were Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of Student Affairs Department), Dr. Pham Hong Long (Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies), Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Dung (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies); and Ms. Vu Huong Lan (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies).
At the ceremony, numerous scholarships were awarded to students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies. Viettrantour Company donated 20 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, each scholarship worth 1 million VND.

Unable to hide her honor and pride at being one of the 20 scholarship recipients, Hoang Nhat Linh, a K59 Tourism student, shared: “As a student of the Tourism Faculty, I feel very lucky and proud to always receive the care and dedicated support of the teachers and alumni.”
On behalf of all the students, student Hoang Nhat Linh expressed her most sincere gratitude to the teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20th.
Nguyen Thu Ha, a former student of class K42A and CEO of Viet Vision Travel, awarded a scholarship covering one year's tuition to student Le Bich Loan (Class K60 Tourism).

“Loan’s difficult circumstances remind me of the difficulties I faced 17 years ago when I was a student. Returning today, I feel happy to be able to support disadvantaged students and help them excel in their studies. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Tourism Studies and to the teachers for guiding and teaching Loan and giving her an interesting career to pursue,” shared former student Nguyen Thu Ha.
Addressing the students on this special occasion, former student Nguyen Thu Ha shared: "You should work in tourism with all your heart and a sense of responsibility, contributing to bringing Vietnamese tourism further into the world."
The K42A class also donated 26.6 million VND to the Tourism Studies Faculty's scholarship fund.

On behalf of the faculty, Dr. Pham Hong Long (Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies) expressed his gratitude to the K42A cohort in particular and alumni in general. Dr. Pham Hong Long hoped that in the near future, the scholarship fund would receive more support from alumni, enabling it to become self-sufficient and provide maximum support for the studies of Tourism Studies students in the future.
Following the scholarship awarding ceremony was a panel discussion on the topic "Teachers and Memories." This was an opportunity for teachers and students to interact, share experiences, and strengthen their bonds.

Regarding her impressions of the student cohorts, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Dung shared, "Having taught students since cohort K46, each cohort has left a different impression. The internships, the lectures at the hotel, the reunions after graduation, the conversations about the department and the university… these are the pride and joy that this profession brings."
For Professor Nguyen Pham Hung, the most precious gift is his students: “For me, the most precious gift is my students. With 38 years of teaching, many of my students have achieved success in life and their careers. I always share with my students that their success is my success, and their failure is my failure.”

Professor Nguyen Pham Hung was always concerned: "We need to create high-quality, luxurious tourism. We must break down the misconceptions of other professors and students who think that tourism students only do professional work. The faculty and students of the Tourism Department should excel in both their profession and research."

Teacher Trinh Le Anh shared
From the perspective of event management lecturer Trinh Le Anh, he shared: “With the mindset of organizing events, the teachers and alumni entered this event, were greeted right from the first floor, saw the students applaud, received a flower, were invited to write messages of good wishes for each other and for the teachers…, of course, the teachers felt the students' sense of responsibility in the event. They did very well, creating a very heartfelt program.”
Following the panel discussion, the most attention-grabbing part was the appreciation gala titled "My Teachers Are Number 1." This was a space where students recreated their most memorable experiences with their teachers. These could include memorable quotes, gestures, actions, etc., all vividly recreated on stage.
During the gala, the students also honored their teachers with various titles they themselves created, such as: International Mr. Niga Saki; Ageless Gentleman – Mr. Trinh Le Anh; Tourism Mr. Nguyen Pham Hung; Gentleman with the Best Hair – Mr. Tran Duc Thanh; Mr. with the Most Attractive Physique – Mr. Pham Hong Long; Mr. with the Best Waistline – Mr. To Quang Long.
