Tuesday - November 14, 2017 22:03
On the morning of November 14, 2017, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Secretary and Vice Rector of the University) led a delegation of university staff to visit and extend greetings to the veteran teachers of the University on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

The University's delegation visited Professor Ha Van Tan, Associate Professor Nguyen Thua Hy, Professor Phan Dai Doan, Associate Professor Le Mau Han, and Associate Professor Nguyen Van Hong. These are all veteran scientists and educators who have been involved with and made significant contributions to research, training, and the development of the University. Not only are they renowned educators and great mentors to many generations of students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, but they are also leading figures in Vietnamese education.

The home visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Many teachers, despite their advanced age and frail health, could not hide their emotion at being visited and showing concern by the school representatives.

Professor Nguyen Van Kim expressed his pride in having been a student of great teachers, and also showed his respect and gratitude for their contributions to the school. The Vice Rector affirmed that the contributions of educators to the nation's intellectual development will always be recognized by future generations. The presence of veteran educators always serves as a support and encouragement for the younger generations of teachers and scientists at the school to contribute even more enthusiastically to the country's research and training.
