Follow the footsteps of "Student Ambassadors"

This year, with a new admission method and two capacity assessment rounds completely separate from the national high school exam, Hanoi National University has attracted special attention from the social community. However, many candidates are still very confused by the "open" regulations, very flexible but also very strange.

Programme "Student Ambassador 2015”continues to be deployed for the purpose of providing admission information consultation, especially information on competency assessment exams and admission forms to Hanoi National University, career orientation consultation and exam experience consultation; at the same time, introducing training programs, professional learning opportunities and scientific research at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University to the social community and a large number of high school students. The activities in the program are carried out by former high school students who are currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

With the guidance and direction from the teachers of the School and the support of the Sponsors 3Com Information Technology Development Company Limited and Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank SHB West Hanoi Branch, the volunteers "Student Ambassador 2015”deployed into 10 Teams in the provinces/cities such as: Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc and the joint team of the provinces: Bac Giang - Hai Duong - Nghe An with nearly 200 high schools with activities such as: distributing admission information documents, organizing direct admission counseling programs at the school and online counseling on social networks...

With the enthusiasm, dynamism, creativity of youth, and solid professional training, the "Student Ambassadors" always receive a warm welcome from teachers and students.

Tran Kieu Anh, a student of class 12D2 at Thuan Thanh High School No. 1 (Bac Ninh) shared:“This is really an opportunity for us to receive important information about the majors, universities, and the latest admission methods of Hanoi National University. We have received advice and help from the members of the Student Ambassador team. At the same time, it helps us to review our dreams, listen to sharing about careers and future orientation. We can have an overview of the upcoming student period, and receive useful sharing for our studies.”.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu Ha, Principal of Yen Phong High School No. 1 (Bac Ninh) shared:“The program brings practical benefits to the school’s students as this year the Ministry of Education and Training has made many changes in the admission regulations. This is also an opportunity to promote the school’s image and expand the school’s relationship with alumni. The program will create a foundation for activities connecting the school with students and alumni, contributing to the development of the educational environment inside and outside the school….”

Nguyen Thi Luyen - One of the Team Leaders of "Student Ambassadors" shared:“I personally see this as an opportunity for the members of the Team to improve their teamwork skills, public speaking skills, share their personal experiences, and bring joy to everyone. In particular, this is also an opportunity for you to bring some effort back to contribute to your homeland and future generations of students.”.

The “Student Ambassador” program of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue until the end of the 2015 enrollment period.
