Cooperation in Vietnamese language training with Guangxi Foreign Language University.

During the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Secretary and Vice Rector of the University) received Professor Dr. Ly Lo (Rector of Guangxi Foreign Languages ​​University). Representatives from both sides provided an overview of the achievements and training programs of their respective universities.

The two sides discussed areas of cooperation including: faculty exchange, student exchange; joint research activities; and short-term training courses and programs. It is expected that one of the first collaborative activities between the two universities in the near future will be a faculty exchange program. Professor Ly Lu proposed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities send faculty to support Guangxi University of Foreign Languages ​​in teaching Vietnamese to Chinese students.

Guangxi University of Foreign Languages ​​was established in June 2004. Currently, the university has over 13,000 students and offers training in 10 foreign languages, including Vietnamese.
