Welcoming the delegation from Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences (Federal Republic of Germany)

During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading institution for social sciences and humanities education in Vietnam. The Rector emphasized the University's internationalization strategy, including strengthening relationships with international partners. Specifically with Germany, the University has good relations with many universities such as Humboldt University, Passau University, and Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf University. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities hopes to exchange and cooperate with Zittau/Gorlitz University through activities such as joint seminars, student and faculty exchanges, etc.

On behalf of Zittau/Gorlitz University, Professor Eva Pretzsch expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is currently involved in a tourism development project in Vietnam and wishes to collaborate with the University's Faculty of Tourism Studies in this area. To realize this idea, Professor Eva Pretzsch proposed signing a formal cooperation agreement between the two institutions, paving the way for deeper collaborations.

Professor Pham Quang Minh agreed with Professor Eva Pretzsch's proposal and pledged that the university would create the best conditions for the two sides to sign a cooperation agreement soon. The Cooperation and Development Office and the Faculty of Tourism Studies will serve as the liaison between the two universities.
