Receiving a delegation from Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences (Germany)

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading training address for social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. The President emphasized the University's internationalization strategy, including strengthening relations with international partners. In Germany alone, the University has good relations with many universities such as Humboldt University, Passau University, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to exchange and cooperate with Zittau/Gorlitz University through activities such as organizing joint seminars, exchanging students, lecturers, etc.

On behalf of Zittau/Gorlitz University, Prof. Eva Pretzsch expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the USSH. She is currently involved in a tourism development project in Vietnam and wishes to cooperate with the Faculty of Tourism Studies of the University in this field. To realize this idea, Prof. Eva Pretzsch proposed to sign an official memorandum of cooperation between the two sides, in order to create momentum for deeper cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh agreed with the proposal of Prof. Eva Pretzsch and committed that the University will create the best conditions for the two sides to soon sign a cooperation agreement. The Department of Cooperation and Development and the Faculty of Tourism Studies will be the focal point between the two schools.
