Professor, People's Teacher Ha Van Tan (1937-2019)
Prof. Dr. Ha Van Tan born in 1937 in Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province, former Director of the Institute of Archaeology, former Editor-in-Chief of the Archaeology Magazine, former Vice President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association, former Deputy Director of the Institute of Buddhist Studies, former Head of the Department of Historical Methodology, Faculty of History, Hanoi National University.
Ho Chi Minh Prize, First Class and Third Class Labor Medals, Third Class Anti-American Resistance Medal and many other noble awards.
Due to old age and poor health, he passed away at 9:00 p.m. on November 27, 2019 (November 2, Ky Hoi year) at the Central Geriatric Hospital. He was 83 years old.
The funeral will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on December 2, 2019 at the National Funeral Home, No. 5, Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.
Cremated on the same day at Hoan Vu Crematorium, Van Dien, Thanh Tri, Hanoi.
The funeral was held at 5:00 a.m. on December 5, 2019, at Lac Hong Vien Cemetery, Ky Son District, Hoa Binh Province.
Note:- The school has a car to take the staff to visit, departing from the school at 8:30 a.m., December 2, 2019.
