This is a festival for generations of students and trainees of the School to express their respect and gratitude to generations of teachers - the silent "ferrymen" with the mission of nurturing the intelligence, knowledge and personality of the young generation for the future development of the country. Principal Pham Quang Minh presented the decision to appoint Principal of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu. The High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities is a public educational institution in the national education system and in the system of general schools in Hanoi. The school is organized and operates according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, under the direct direction and management of the organization, teaching staff, facilities, finance, enrollment and training of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; under the management of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in implementing educational programs and plans, organizing graduation exams, and granting graduation certificates. Next school year, the school will enroll students in specialized classes in Literature, History and Geography.
This is the 4th high school under Hanoi National University, besides the High School for Natural Sciences (under the University of Natural Sciences), the High School for Foreign Languages (under the University of Foreign Languages) and the High School for Educational Sciences (under the University of Education).
The Faculty of Sociology is one of seven groups of VNU to receive the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning".
