On March 31, 2011, the Faculty of Tourism Studies organized a seminar on the topic: “Students and Tourism Businesses”. Participants included lecturers and students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, representatives from the Hotel Department of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and representatives from several hotels and tourism companies in Hanoi, such as Ariva Nam Ngu Hotel, Media Hanoi Hotel, and Crowne Plaza Hotel.
On March 31, 2011, the Faculty of Tourism Studies organized a seminar on the topic: “Students and Tourism Businesses”. Participants included lecturers and students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, representatives from the Hotel Department of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and representatives from several hotels and tourism companies in Hanoi, such as Ariva Nam Ngu Hotel, Media Hanoi Hotel, and Crowne Plaza Hotel.During the seminar, representatives from various businesses exchanged information and helped students answer questions related to the travel and hospitality industry, such as: the differences between resorts and hotels, job competition in tourism businesses, regulations on the use of identification cards in operations, etc. They particularly emphasized the importance of factors such as foreign language skills, self-confidence, communication skills, passion for the profession, and a thirst for knowledge. The seminar helped tourism businesses access potential human resources while providing students with opportunities to learn essential knowledge and skills, and gain specific career guidance for the future.
