Awarding 80 Chung-Soo scholarships

The Chung Soo Scholarship Foundation of Korea was established in 1962 by Mr. Park Chong Hee with the aim of nurturing human resources to serve the socio-economic development of Korea. The Foundation has since expanded to other areas to contribute to the development of human resources in some developing countries.

Since 2007, the Fund has chosen the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - a leading high-quality training and scientific research center in the country in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities to award 920 scholarships. These scholarships have become a source of spiritual encouragement and material support for students in overcoming difficulties in life to strive to study well.

On behalf of the school's leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the Chung Soo Foundation for accompanying and awarding scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to encourage them in their studies and training. The Vice President hopes that students this time will continue to strive to have the opportunity to receive scholarships in the coming years. The Vice President also highly appreciated the significance of this activity in the context of the good results of the Vietnam - Korea cooperation relationship.

On behalf of the students receiving the scholarship, Vuong Thi Thom (Faculty of Sociology) gave a speech and thanked the Chung-Soo Scholarship Fund and the teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for creating favorable conditions for the students. She also pledged to use the scholarship practically in her studies, improving her research, foreign language and IT skills.
