This presentation focuses on the Enabling Pedagogy teaching method. Enabling Pedagogy is a student-centered pedagogical approach that acknowledges the diversity of individual learning and research abilities. This method provides opportunities for learners to showcase their abilities to the best of their potential. Importantly, students do not feel homogenized in terms of their understanding and psychology, as their differences are respected. With this method, the teacher's role extends beyond simply transmitting knowledge. Teachers must acknowledge the richness of students' backgrounds, needs, motivations, and learning styles; provide comprehensive guidance and direction on the subject; ensure consistency and transparency in lesson design, assessment, and testing; and foster relationships among students.
Dr. Pham Van Minh also presented some basic principles on course design to ensure student concentration, rational implementation of course content, and fair student assessment. These principles help integrate the aforementioned methods to effectively support teaching and learning. At the same time, Dr. Pham Van Minh spent time discussing opportunities for cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of South Australia in international research and publication, particularly in the fields of practical research, interdisciplinary research groups, comparative case studies, and research communities.

Dr. Pham Van Min
On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector) stated that Dr. Pham Van Min's insights are essential for the innovation of teaching methods that the University, in particular, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in general, are implementing. Improving pedagogical methods becomes even more practical when new generations of students (such as the 2010s generation) have significantly different mindsets, perceptions, and habits compared to previous generations. To improve the skills of the teaching staff, the University recently organized several short training courses such as the "Training Course on Skills for Class Homeroom Teachers and Academic Advisors" on October 19th, and the "International Training Course on Designing EMI Courses" with the University of South Australia on December 15th. These courses attracted active and effective participation from the teachers.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan
Following the presentation, Dr. Pham Van Min received several questions and comments regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the Enabling Pedagogy method; its applicability to the Vietnamese higher education context; the relationship between Enabling Pedagogy and other methods; issues surrounding the translation of English terminology; the role of technology in improving pedagogical effectiveness; and the impact of university branding on the value of degrees and certificates from various courses.

School staff members took a commemorative photo with Dr. Pham Van Min.
