At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his joy at the active cooperation between the two sides, since the delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities officially visited the Guangxi International Trade and Technical Academy on July 12 last year. The school has welcomed 17 students from the other side to study at the Faculty of Linguistics. Currently, the Chinese students are about to complete their courses. In the future, the Vice President hopes that the two sides will continue to maintain and expand student exchange activities.
In response, Ms. Le Hong Me expressed her thanks to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for creating favorable conditions for students of the Guangxi International Trade Technical Academy. Through research, she learned that Chinese students highly appreciate the organization of study, exchange and activities of the school. She proposed to increase the compilation and publication of Vietnamese textbooks to serve the teaching of Vietnamese language and culture. The Chinese side also hopes that our side will send students to study and research in Guangxi, China.
Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan shared the thoughts of Ms. Le Hong Me, pledging to create better conditions for Chinese students. In the near future, in addition to increasing the official study time, the School will open short-term internship/practicum courses to improve skills and increase job opportunities for Chinese students.
Guangxi International Trade Technical Academy was established in 1965 as the School of International Trade and Economics, and was upgraded to an Academy in 2002. The Academy aims to train international business experts and business managers for Guangxi Province. The Academy has about 9,200 students studying in the following faculties: Faculty of Applied Foreign Languages, Faculty of Foreign Trade, Faculty of Accounting, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Market Circulation, Faculty of Finance, Faculty of Basic Knowledge, Faculty of Social Sciences.
