At the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his delight at the positive cooperation between the two sides since the delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities paid an official visit to the Guangxi International Trade and Technology Academy on July 12th last year. The university has welcomed 17 students from the Chinese side to study at the Department of Linguistics. These Chinese students are currently nearing completion of their course. Looking ahead, the Vice Rector hopes that both sides will continue to maintain and expand student exchange activities.

In response, Ms. Le Hong Me expressed her gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for facilitating the students of the Guangxi International Trade and Technology Academy. Through her research, she learned that the Chinese students highly appreciate the university's organization of learning, exchange, and activities. She proposed increasing the compilation and publication of Vietnamese textbooks to support the teaching of Vietnamese language and culture. The Chinese side also hoped that Vietnam would send students to study and conduct research in Guangxi, China.

Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan shared Ms. Le Hong Me's thoughts and pledged to create even better conditions for Chinese students. In the near future, in addition to increasing the official study time, the university will open short-term internship/practical training courses to hone skills and enhance employment opportunities for Chinese students.

Guangxi International Business and Technology Academy was established in 1965 as the International Business and Economics School, and was upgraded to an Academy in 2002.
