Aeon Group awards scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony were, on behalf of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Jun YANAGI - Minister Counselor of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; and Ms. Mizuki Tanaka - Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam. Representing AEON Group and the AEON Scholarship Fund were Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura - General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam; Mr. Yokoo Hiroshi - President of the AEON 1% Club; and Mr. Honda Yosei - General Secretary of the AEON 1% Club. Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice Rector of the University.

As part of an official cooperation agreement with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since 2012, this is the fifth consecutive year that AEON Group has awarded scholarships to students of the University. Each scholarship is worth 290 US dollars.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Yokoo Hiroshi, President of the AEON 1% Club, stated that the goal of the scholarship is to support students in their studies, scientific research, and exchanges with Vietnamese students. This will further strengthen the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to AEON Group for choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to award scholarships, which helps motivate students in their studies and training. Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan hoped that the scholarship fund in particular and AEON Group in general would continue to show interest in the future to have more effective collaborative activities.

At the ceremony, in the presence of teachers and professors, AEON Group awarded scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Foreign Trade University. Representing the scholarship recipients, Dao Ngoc My Linh (Faculty of Oriental Studies) and Dang Trung Anh (Faculty of Management Science) expressed their gratitude for AEON Group's support and shared their future aspirations with AEON representatives.

Following the scholarship awarding ceremony, representatives from AEON Group took the time to share information about their recruitment needs and experiences, and to listen to the students' aspirations and concerns.
