Commemorative medals "For the Cause of Journalism" were awarded to three staff members of the school.

This morning (August 30, 2017), Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University, presented the "For the Cause of Journalism" commemorative medal, the highest award of the Vietnam Journalists Association, to three faculty members of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. This is a great honor and source of pride, but also a great responsibility bestowed upon these individuals by the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The individuals who received the "For the Cause of Journalism" commemorative medal are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Huong, Head of the Student Affairs and Student Activities Committee, Vietnam National University, former Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Xuan Son, former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication; and Mr. Pham Dinh Lan, Director of the Center for Journalism and Communication Professional Training.

At the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Van Kim extended his congratulations to the comrades receiving the commemorative medals. He expressed his hope that in the future, they will continue to contribute to Vietnamese journalism in general and the Faculty of Journalism and Communication in particular.
