During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh introduced the main achievements in training, scientific research, and the main research directions of the University; emphasizing the goal of promoting internationalization through the development of courses taught in English and expanding relations with international partners. The Rector hoped that the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam would serve as a bridge between the University and Israeli universities.
In response, Mr. Nadav Eshcar thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its warm welcome. He stated that the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam is always ready to support the University in connecting with Israeli universities, especially in activities such as organizing seminars, exhibitions, and exchanges between Vietnamese and Israeli students. He also expressed his desire to disseminate information and knowledge about his country to the University's students and Vietnamese students in general, especially in the context of the upcoming 25th anniversary of Vietnam-Israel relations.
Professor Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated Mr. Nadav Eshcar's suggestions and pledged that the University would always welcome the presence and contributions of the Ambassador in particular and the Israeli Embassy in general in academic exchange activities, as well as exhibitions and presentations on Israeli history, culture, and society. Regarding Ambassador Nadav Eshcar specifically, the Rector invited him to participate in seminars organized by the University, such as the "One Belt, One Road" seminar on October 6th. Mr. Nadav Eshcar happily accepted the invitation.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam, organized numerous activities, including a presentation on "Anne Frank – A History for Today" on November 21, 2016, and a film screening commemorating the victims of the Holocaust on February 17, 2017. These activities saw the participation of a large number of faculty, staff, and students from the University, as well as representatives from the Israeli Embassy.
