At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan briefly introduced the history of training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading address for training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. Among the University's partners, the Vice President affirmed that Japan has always been an important partner in the international cooperation development strategy. The University has close relations with Japanese universities such as the University of Tokyo, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Osaka University, Showa Women's University, and Waseda University.
In response, Prof. Yasunao Kojita expressed his thanks for the warm welcome of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He said that Nara Women's University wants to promote joint research projects and comparative research among universities in East Asia, including Vietnam in particular. For the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, he proposed to organize a parallel international conference on the history of Vietnam and Japan in the East Asian region in relation to Chinese history.
Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan agreed with the proposals of Professor Yasunao Kojita, and hoped that in the future, the two schools would carry out more specific cooperation in activities such as exchanging lecturers and students and conducting joint research projects. The Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Office of Cooperation and Development will be the focal point between the two sides.
