On January 31, 2018 and February 1, 2018, in Hanoi, the State Council of Professors (SPC) for the 2014-2019 term held its 7th session. At this session, the SPC reviewed and voted on candidates who met the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2017.

According to the voting results, 85 people met the standards of Professor, 1,141 people met the standards of Associate Professor. The total number of people meeting the standards of Professor and Associate Professor in 2017 was 1,226 people. Of which, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 03 people meeting the standards of Professor, 16 people meeting the standards of Associate Professor. Specifically:
