The university and the Faculty of International Studies celebrate Associate Professor Pham Viet Trung's 85th birthday.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the University's Trade Union, Professor Vu Duong Ninh presented an embroidered painting and gifts to Associate Professor Pham Viet Trung on his 85th birthday. Professor Hoang Khac Nam (Head of the Department of International Studies) also sent gifts and New Year's greeting cards from the Department's staff to him. During the meeting, Associate Professor Pham Viet Trung and the faculty members reminisced about many memories and updated each other on the latest information and development of the Department and the University.

The activity of honoring and celebrating the birthdays of retired and veteran teachers is a traditional and annual event of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and the Faculty of International Studies in particular. This activity demonstrates the respect and gratitude of the younger generation towards senior figures who have made significant contributions to the cause of education and the development of the University and the Faculty in the past.
